This program is intended to introduce students to martial arts in a convenient after-school setting. There are also classes for returning students to advance through their belts.

The first requirement for new students is to memorize and recite the Student Creed.

All of our students have done this, beginning with our K students, who may not be able to read it on their own. Students take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to learn it.  Once the first student does it, the confidence level of all students goes up and each class celebrates the students who have earned their white belts.

Classes are open to new beginner students in K - 4th grade as well as students currently enrolled or returning to our program.

Grades 5th and higher may participate with approval of MCDS ASAP and karate instructor.

Fees:

Uniform and belt fees:

  • uniforms range from $45 to $60 - plus tax (click here to pay online) (cost based on height)

  • checks payable to MOJO DOJO KARATE mailing address: 247 Shoreline Highway - #A-11, Mill Valley CA 94941

  • White belts come with the uniform and are earned after memorizing the Student Creed

  • Belt fees for yellow, orange, green/white stripe, green, purple/white stripe, purple ($25 includes belt and certificate - click here to pay online)
