After-School Programs
Location: Marin Country Day School
The classes taught at MCDS are the same as my traditional classes at the dojo. The first requirement for beginning students is to memorize and recite the Student Creed. All of my students have done this, beginning with my K students, who aren't able to read it on their own. Students typically take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to learn it. Once the first student does it, the confidence level of all students goes up and each class celebrates the students who have earned their white belts.
Beginner level students, 1st grade and above will be able to join the karate program on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3-4pm.

The SPRING 2010 session begins Monday, April 12th and ends the week of May 30th:
Mondays 7 class meetings (No class May 31st)

- Sparring gear - $135 - includes head, feet, hands, shin, mouth and groin protectors. We usually spar on alternating Mondays. See calendar below.

- Brown belt - $65-$85
